Just as all the rivers of the world flow in so many directions to the same ocean,
so do all the true religions of the world lead in so many different ways to the same Almighty Lord.
All true religions preach devotion to the Almighty
and uphold the importance of good deeds and good thoughts.
Religion elevates us above our worldly attachments and brings us closer to God.
A virtuous lifestyle, a righteous attitude and high moral values are emphasised by all true religions.
Conflicts between different religions are the consequence of misunderstanding
or misinterpretation of the teachings of the other religions or even one's own religion.
It is therefore important for us not only to be tolerant of other religions
with their seemingly peculiar practices and rituals but also to make an attempt
to understand the teachings of the various religions.

HINDUISM

Hinduism, one of the oldest living religions, was not founded on the teachings of one man but developed gradually over thousands of years, its roots dating back to prehistoric times in India.
